EVA Foam Mats

Our new lightweight mats (1.1 x 1.4m) come standard with the Dual Antenna System. Weighing just 6kg each, they are easy to move around and position. The mats interlock with each other using a novel jigsaw pattern ensuring that mats do not move despite the heavy traffic of runners. The heat-treated upper surface is tough enough to withstand abuse such as cycle cleats whilst being soft underfoot and non-slip in wet conditions. The mats do not absorb water and can be easily cleaned and washed. Sets of mats come with bevelled border pieces that give the mat array an extremely professional look. The lightness of the mats is a particular advantage when freighting equipment by air.

Any number of systems can be used to create an array of antenna mats which will handle the largest of races. The number and type of systems required for a timing point depends on the speed and density of competitors. The widest timing point can be 6 metres.

Single Carpet Mat

The HDD System comes standard with a 4 metre x 2 metre single carpet mat. The mat contains a separate charge up antenna and 16 individual reader antennas sandwiched between a quality marine carpet and rubber base. The mat weighs 27kg and can be rolled up for storage. The entirely waterproof mat is ideal for the biggest races that require a full 8 metre wide timing point.
